They are building a mechanism to improve failure
We are building a machine to improve failure
A workhorse to inspire dreams
In its shadows flames spark
The shadows casts light
Improve failure / Inspire dreams
We improved failure to inspire dreams
Random acts of starvation based on meditation,
empty lunch tins, worker strikes and strip malls.
The integration divine
An order on trial with the band packing up
Their monuments lurk at night and shout at you
In streets venom collide, twisted and radiant
Glisten sun and warm thoughts clear the rubble and decay.
In all of this I observe and take in years

A part of me died that day I turned the page
I can remember the exact location I found myself in
I can’t even recall the names of faces
Intertwined relationships I think held it together
How I miss that
But I can’t be sure
There were letters written
Fractures of non truths cooked for your delight
My father through away all my letters
I kept them in a box next to my bed
I always did think that they were held to sacred for something that held no significant value to me
They just lied there waiting for it
Now it stares at me vacant and empty
More letters, speeches projected against more faces
An abundance of tears, I don’t recall crying, what if someone saw me?
It would not matter because as I stated I can’t recall where I was when I turned the page.
Gone after 26, a last meal, a hangover and a failed return
It all changed when my writing was removed from my wall
I started hiding, waiting for them to draw up a map
Don’t hold it dear, it’s never really yours
